What You Need to Know

With Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment, we use a small needle to withdraw a small amount of blood from your arm; we then run it in a centrifuge to separate the red and white blood cells from the platelets and plasma. The resulting substance, PRP, contains 3-5 times the number of platelets as regular blood.
